Low Carb Cheesesticks with Bacon

Cheesesticks are basically God’s gift to man. They’re also loaded with carbs 🤮. Here’s a yummy, low carb alternative.

1. 3 Large Zucchini, shredded

2. 4 Cups Shredded Mozzarella

3. 2 Oz Cream Cheese, softened

4. 3 Cloves Garlic, minced

5. 2 Tbs Italian Seasoning

6. 3 Tbs Bacon Bits

7. 1 Tsp Dried Parsley

8. 2 Tsp Garlic Powder

*Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Shred Zucchini, and drain excess water. In a bowl, combine 2 cups Mozzarella with Cream Cheese. Microwave for 30 seconds, and stir. Combine cheese mixture with Zucchini. Add 2 cloves Garlic, Italian Seasoning, Garlic powder and 2 Tbs Bacon Bits. Mix. Cover mixture and put in freezer for 15 minutes. Remove from freezer and place mixture on parchment paper lined baking tray. Place in oven for 30 minutes, flipping the mixture over at the 17.5 minute mark. After 30 minutes, remove from oven, and top with remaining garlic, 1 Tsp garlic powder, 2 cups Mozzarella, 1 Tbs Bacon Bits and Dried Parsley. Bake for an additional 15 minutes, until cheese has melted and is starting to brown over. Remove from oven, and let cool and set for 10 minutes before cutting into sticks and enjoying.
