Low Carb Bagels


So, I got the base for these bagels from another site, and tweaked the ingredients amounts a bit for my taste. These babies very much so compare to the real deal, and are only 3 NET CARBS PER SERVING!

  1. 4 Cups Shredded Mozzarella
  2. 2 Cups Almond Flour
  3. 5 Tbs Softened Cream Cheese
  4. 2 Eggs, room tempurature
  5. 1 Tbs Baking Powder
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 2 Tbs butter, melted

*Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a microwavable bowl, combine mozzarella, cream cheese and almond flour. Mix. Microwave on High for 1 minute. Mix. Microwave on High for an additional minute. Add egg, baking soda and salt. Mix until doughy consistency forms. Cover and place mixture in freezer for 15 minutes. Remove from freezer, and separate dough into six parts. Mold dough into ball, then roll out and form into bagel shape. Place pre-cooked bagels on parchment paper lined baking rack. Baste each bagel with melted butter, and top with desire toppings (I did, Everything But the Bagel Seasoning, jalapenos and pizza bagels). Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before enjoying.
